Radical Islamists back rapper Vedan, claims Kerala Hindutva leader
text_fieldsKozhikode: KP Sasikala of Hindu Aikya Vedi, a Sangh Parivar-affiliated organisation in Kerala, has come up with support for RSS leader NR Madhu's allegation that Kerala-based rapper Vedan's songs promote caste terrorism. Sasikala alleged in a Facebook post that Vedan's promoters are extremist Islamic organisations and anti-Hindu forces.
She also said that everyone will agree that the dangerous food culture that is influencing Kerala is seriously affecting the Kerala Hindu way of life. Madhu, who is also a Hindu organisation activist, has the right to say that those who mostly succumb to that evil influence in Kerala are Hindus.
A case was registered against Madhu for making hate speech under Section 192 of the Bharatiya Nyay Sanhita for wantonly giving provocation with an intent to cause riot. Condemning the police action, Sasikala alleged that the case was an encroachment on the fundamental rights of the citizen.
Sasikala claimed that the state government is trying to please the radical Islamists, and Madhu's allegation that the Vedan caste is promoting terrorism is factual. She claimed that the promoters of Vedan are radical Islamic organisations and anti-Hindu forces who are trying to separate the Dalit community from the Hindu community and divide the Hindus through Islamic unity.
She went on claiming there is no caste discrimination going on in Kerala, and no one is subjugating or keeping anyone. But if there are, the “Left and Right” governments that have ruled the state so far are answerable.
She then claimed that they have studied the issues of Scheduled Castes and Tribes, which are not Palestine or "Quran in China".
